Our Rescue Stories
Our furry friends come to us in all sorts of ways. Some are very unusual circumstances. We try to write up a little story to share with you so you can better understand rescue work and what we do and the commitment we have made to these wonderful creatures. Most the stories are sad, horrifying and heartbreaking but we are usually blessed with a great outcome and a new forever family for our furry friend. We rely on the support of our community to continue helping the puppies, kitten , cats and dogs. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.

- Lenny's Story - a puppy left on a curb to die because he wasn't perfect when he was born
- Ricky's Story - a little guy whose owner was not capable of taking care of him
- May 2012 Hoarding Rescue - 22 animals rescued from a horrific hoarding situation where the owners were evicted
- Emma and her Puppies - our beautiful German Shepherd girl who was starved when she was pregnant
- Sweet Pitty Girl Shot - Concord Police shoot homeless woman's pitty girl. She was at the wrong place at the right time.
- Hurricane Sandy Rescues - after the Hurricane Sandy devastation, FurEver Animal Rescue brings the 6 remaining beautiful dogs to California to find their FurEver new homes!
